Get your Network Marketing Team Started Right
The key to building a successful Network Marketing organization is what we call duplication. If your team is not duplicating your efforts than you will experience attrition and very slow growth if any.
So what is the first step?
First things first. Your new rep is going to need encouragement. Find their strengths and start there. Grow on their strengths and encourage them to step out of their comfort zone. I would have them buy a copy of George Zaluckis’ “Profile of a Champion.” This cd will help them reprogram their mind from mediocrity to that of a Champion. Make sure you stress to them to listen to the cd every day for the next 30 days.
Get them to shut off the TV, no more news, throw out the newspapers. Media is riddled with negativity and pain. We need to reboot our brain and start filling it with positive things and motivational things.
Next: Get them to turn their car into a university. Driving around in our car is considered downtime!!
Have them listening to motivational cds, marketing and prospecting cds, sales cds. Anything to get them pumped and keeping them positive. The Network Marketing industry is all about personal development. Because, believe me, once you put yourself out there the world is going to try and destroy you, it will try to bring you to your knees begging for mercy!!
This isnt negative thinking, it is the Truth. If you dont believe me join my team and I’ll push you to go out into the world and see what she has to offer
I will never say network marketing is easy. It is simple, but not easy. You see, a dog with a note in its mouth can build a network marketing company. But dogs are braver than most people. Its really a numbers game. We are just out looking for people that qualify to be on our team. I got 3 nos, bang “I’m not cut out for this.” Trust me I see this day in and day out. the fear of rejection is more powerful to many people than the drive for Success.

Next have them subscribe to Success magazine. This will help transform their minds over time. Each month the articles and cds that come with the subscription are worth their weight in gold!! Darren Hardy is a master of success. I also recommend people reading his book and listening to his cd series “The Compound Effect” This will help people to see the value of doing small things consistently over time.
Get your new recruit to sit down with you and help them make out a list of 100 warm prospects. People they know and can call to open them to the opportunity. Make a copy of the list and hold on to it. Let them know either they can call their list or you will. Also you have their list of 100, that even if they drop out of the business you still have the list that you can now prospect.
You also want to have a weekly or by-weekly training for your team. Keep it short but cover new things that can help their business grow. Encourage them to get an accountability partner. Someone they can call on daily to keep each other accountable.
I think it was John Maxwell that said…”How do you know when someone needs Encouragement?… If they are breathing. We all need to be encouraged, It is oxygen for the SOUL!!!
