It’s rare for any online business to generate traffic and flourish without the benefits of advertising. The Internet offers the best advertising opportunities of all time, but many people wonder how to get the most value for their advertising dollar. In order to get the targeted audience you need, you might consider advertising in ezines or newsletters.
Ezine advertising is one of the most effective methods to gain traffic to your site. Since an ezine is usually targeted towards a particular group, you can reach an audience that’s already interested in your product or service.
First, ascertain how large the readership of the ezine is. The best ad in the world won’t get much response from a readership of only a couple hundred people.
Make sure they have the traffic needed to justify your expenditure. Many ezines list their readership numbers, but don’t believe their data. Research the ezine by looking on the Internet for comments about it, criticisms or praise.
Another way to find the right ezine for your ads is to join an ezine directory service. You’ll have access to hundreds of ezines, their readership and subscriber information; and most of those directories are searchable using subjects or keywords. You can easily find which ones are offering promotional rates for your ad; and if you’re lucky, you might even find free advertising space!
Remember to check out their reputation too, because some of the less scrupulous ezines will gladly take your money but not run your ads. It is recommended to stay away from co-op (bulk) ezine advertising. Unfortunately, co-ops have developed a reputation for deception and dishonesty.
An excellent way to find the right ezine to advertise in is to subscribe to the ones you are considering. If you receive an email requiring you to confirm your subscription, you might have found a quality ezine with dedicated readers. There might also be information in the emails about advertising rates, which will shorten your search.
Finally, make sure that your product or service is something that the ezine’s readers would be interested in. If you have a great new method for stock market trading, it won’t get much reaction in an ezine that promotes frugality.
Now that you’ve found some ezines that suit your purposes, have a strong subscriber base and whose subjects compliment your product or service, the next step is to write email promo ads that sell.
Obviously, solo ads would reap the best results as you are not competing with other ads and the whole message is focused on your offer. When writing solo ads, make sure you write an attention-grabbing, benefit-packed subject line.
And even though it’s a solo ad, you don’t need to make it long; lengthy emails might trigger the email filters to block your message. The role of the solo ad is to tease or convince the reader to click or go to your website. It is the website’s role to do all the selling for the prospect.
If you’re on a tighter budget, you could opt to go for the classified ads or sponsor ads. They’re less effective than the solo ads, as they compete with other ads and content for the reader’s attention. But it might still be worth it as long as your message is interesting and catchy enough. If possible, choose your ad to appear in the upper portion of the ezine.
Here’s a moneymaking tip: Get feedback from business associates or contacts. Is your ad interesting enough for them? Did your message grab their attention? You’ll only get one shot with each reader, so make the most of it.
If your ad lacks the ability to attract attention or if it’s poorly written, you should consider hiring a writer. Since the response to the ad is only as good as the ad itself, it will be more of an investment than expenditure.
One that still enjoys popularity is the Pay to Click (aka PTC) format. Your ad is listed on a page with other ads and presented to a subscriber who has signed up to be paid a cent or fraction of a cent for viewing ads for fifteen to thirty seconds.
This is a very poor way to advertise, even though the rates are very affordable. Subscribers to PTCs will click on your ad, but the only time the majority of them look at it is to check the countdown clock. Meanwhile, they’ve navigated to another window that contains yet another PTC they are working on.
Most people who click ads at PTCs have no intention of looking at the ads and rarely buy anything they see advertised. They are there to make money, not to spend it. As you can see, there are certainly methods of advertising that just don’t pay.
Another form of advertisement that really isn’t advisable is the pop-up or peel-away ad. Annoying potential customers isn’t the best way to attract business. The fact is that no matter how interesting your ad is, most people will avoid your product if they are forced to view the ad before they can access the page they wanted.
In conclusion, the only true way to succeed in your advertising campaigns is to test and track your results. In due time, you’ll know which email promo ads convert the highest, and which ezines or online services are the best places to advertise in.

Every web site owner knows how important traffic is. If your site is not doing well traffic-wise, here are a couple of tips that could help boost the number of visitors coming to your site each day. And the best thing is, these simple techniques could increase or improve your website traffic without the need to spend money on advertising or promotion.
Aside from the attractiveness of your web site, you also need to provide quality content consistently in order to bring in lots visitors and page views.
Remember who your target audience is and write in such a way that would make them read your articles. If they enjoy – or benefit from – your articles, they would visit your website often and even tell their friends about it.
You would then have repeat visitors, and perhaps gain loyal fans. When people share the great information they’ve seen from your site, it will continue to grow and get more exposure.
Originality is one of the important factors in generating massive traffic for your web site. If your content is already available in many other places online, your webpage might not show up in the search engines, as other higher-ranking sites with the same content might dilute it.
It is also recommended to provide “evergreen” material. Evergreen content is something that never grows old, meaning the information is still relevant in the future. This can guarantee a flow of steady traffic to your site. Timeless material can make the readership grow over time.
Search engine optimization (aka SEO) might sound like rocket science for beginners; but in reality, it is just using the right keywords at the right places. Keywords must be used in the post title, and sprinkled all throughout the start, middle, and the end of the content.
There is no hard and fast rule regarding the “ideal” keyword density, and various authorities on search engine optimization have differing views about this. To be on the safe side, try not to exceed 2%, but insert your keywords strategically while writing in a natural manner.
Use tags that are pertinent to your posts. These also act as keyword phrases that can assist in building traffic through search engines.
If your site has photos, image searches from search engines can be your ally in bringing traffic to your web site. Place the correct keywords in the alt attribute of the image. Be honest about the keywords you input. Don’t just write anything in it. Misleading others to click on your site is a major turn off.
When you hear the world advertising, the first thing that comes into mind is expense. But in reality, you can market your web site without shelling out any money. One of the simplest ways of doing so is by placing a link in your email signature.
Another way of promoting your website for free is by commenting on other sites, especially on those that are in the same niche as yours. This is one way of building your credibility and making people aware of your products or offer.
Social bookmarking sites – such as Digg, Propeller and Stumbleupon – can help bring in targeted website traffic to your site. But make sure not to get overly promotional, as members of social bookmarking sites tend to discourage marketing activities.
Be an active member of the social networking sites you’ll be joining in. Make friends and grow your network. Contribute to the community and join the discussions. And most important of all, don’t just bookmark your own links. To get under the radar, bookmark around 4 to 6 times more non-self-serving links than your own.
Another powerful Web 2.0 tool that is taking the Internet by storm is Twitter. The aim is to build a solid number of followers. Then you can send them tweets about your website or update them whenever there’s a new post.
This can be quite effective as long as you’ve established good relationships with your Twitter followers and you provide helpful Tweeter posts that can help enhance their way of life. A little marketing is ok, but keep it subtle. Over promotion might discourage your followers from reading your posts, and might even cause them to unfollow you.
Look for similar sites and trade links with them. One way to do this is by searching for websites with similar topics or in the same niche as yours.
Contact the owner and ask for a link trade. You could post their link first in your site so they would be more willing to reciprocate. You could always remove the link if they don’t return the favor.
These are some of the free yet effective ways that can help you get significant traffic to your website. Follow these website traffic tips and you’ll be seeing great results in no time.
By definition, a joint venture (aka JV) is where two people work together on some kind of project for the mutual benefit of both parties. It is “joint” as it involves more than one person, and it is usually the members launching out into new territory – or introducing a new product – that is the “venture.”
Often in a joint venture arrangement, one partner has the new idea or product, and another member has the capital or assets required to get the project off the ground. It may happen that several funding partners are collaborating to get a project launched.
If you have the product, the things your joint venture partner may bring to your relationship could be a mailing list, a website or a forum to promote your venture. They may also have the monetary resources that you need to continue your project. Whatever it is you need in a joint venture partner, you would have better chances of finding them as you build relationships with people in your field.
The types of people you want to be joint venture partners are those who are involved in your niche, or those whose products or services compliment yours. Always have your eyes and ears open for those potential partners that are all around you, especially on the Internet.
Some strategies to find JV partners involve direct correspondence with people who publish well-read newsletters. Newsletters that you find value in reading would probably have an audience that is interested in your product.
You may also choose to join various membership sites that give you a contact point for affiliate promoters.
An example of using Google to look for a joint venture partner would go something like this: You have created a new video game and need money to launch the sales of your software. You would search Google by typing in ‘video game development’ or ‘gamers newsletters’. Go to the websites that have posted Google ads for the keywords you have searched.
These businesses are paying money to get these ads posted in this niche. This tells you that they are more determined and serious about being profitable. Sponsored links indicate potential partners. Examine their websites; and join the message boards, forums or lists that are connected to them. Websites with a thriving community indicates that they are on the right track and are possibly ideal partners for you.
Optional: Once you have pinpointed a potential JV partner, find out if they are attending conferences and seminars in the field. Attend the same seminars and you will have a chance for personal contact and networking.
A better way to locate JV partners is to rent a booth at the event, instead of just being an attendee. You have the opportunity to form joint ventures with other booth people or with featured speakers. That is a big boost to your visibility and credibility.
When meeting up with potential JV partners, you could exchange business cards or contact details.
If you’ve found them online and you won’t have any chance of meeting them face to face, search for the “Contact Us” information in their sites. There are also other websites that could help you search out contact information if you cannot find what you need. You could do a Whois search, or use Google or Yahoo yellow pages to find their contact data.
Making A Good First Impression And Building Relationships With JV Partners
Your approach to a potential JV Partner may make or break the deal. Use some of the following ideas below for a successful initial discussion.
Like all other times where you want to make an excellent first impression, your research into the background of your prospective partner can be vital.
Learn all about what they do, and read anything they have published. Sign up to their memberships sites and become acquainted with the type of people who subscribe. Make sure that your product is a good match for their existing customer base.
When attending marketing seminars and networking, go out and meet as many potential JV partners as you can. You never can tell when a drink in a hotel bar or at a casual dinner at a seminar can lead to a successful joint venture.
JV partners are beneficial to your online business, but you have to answer the question: “What is in it for them?” It would certainly mean that you give them a fair and generous share in the profits of your product. It may all be worth it, as you have the potential to see a massive sales increase due to their promotion.
It is also a matter of explaining your similar interests to them. Offer to be of assistance to them and they would likely reciprocate. Continue to build and strengthen mutually beneficial relationships.
Your JV partners can boost your traffic and earnings. With the right moves and strategies, making those highly profitable partnership connections is very achievable.
An internet traffic broker sells traffic to send to a customers website, sales funnel or capture page/s. This is how Google and Facebook made billions in sales. They call it PPC (pay per click) We sell traffic to the many people who desperately need it. We sell traffic packages from 170 clicks all the way up to 3,800 clicks.
People are always moved by good speakers. Orators, politicians, members of the debate team… After all, they command a certain air of respect and the people love listening to what they have to say.
Have you ever heard of the expression, “He’s all talk?” Well, it’s not something you’d like other people to say about you, that’s for sure! So maybe sometimes, it’s better to cease talking for a while and start putting in more effort to just listen.
Listening is often depicted as a passive form of action. However, it is no less powerful. People who know how, and when, to listen properly can go a long way. I’d even go so far as to say that listening skills development can lead to a wealthier and more successful life!
Well, listening leads to having a lot of useful information. Wherever you go, people talk. They talk about the latest news or the latest gadget that’s out on the market right now. All these details might not make a lot of sense at first, but you could find them useful one way or another.
In the workplace, listening is a desired skill. How many assistants have been fired because they didn’t know how to listen? How many employees have screwed a project up because they were blabbing more and more about their own thoughts than listening to the thoughts of their superiors?
Remember that listening is different from just hearing. When you listen, you also try to understand and analyze the words that are coming out of the speaker’s mouth. For example, your company sends you off into a conference. Listening properly means absorbing what is being said, and connecting that with what is happening in your own company. It’s more interactive than most people realize.
In personal relationships, listening also goes a long way. How many fights have you had wherein your partner claims that you don’t know how to listen? Sometimes, you need to talk less and listen more. The more you talk, the more aggravated both parties can become. Listening, on the other hands, helps you process your emotions and stops you from doing or saying something you might regret later on.
So how can you become a better listener? Well, you start with being aware of yourself. If you know that you talk too much, you’ll have a much easier time holding your tongue. In conversations, you don’t always have to say something. In meetings, you don’t always have to speak too much of your mind.
It might be a little challenging for someone who’s used to doing all the talking, but try it one step at a time. Or at least, try it out for the shock value. Imagine just how surprised people will be when you choose to listen to them this time around. Besides, by talking less, you might be surprised at how brilliant other people’s ideas are.
Another way to develop your listening skills is by giving yourself a self-exam. At a meeting, try your best to listen to the speaker and then summarize what he or she has said afterwards. Doing this will also help you improve your memory.
Indeed, listening is an important skill to have in life. However, you must also be careful not to end up listening to the wrong things. Gossip, for example, is one of them. Of course, sometimes you just can’t help but listen to what other people say about person x or person y; but don’t let unverified information get to your head. Keep that piece of information stowed somewhere where you won’t accidentally let it out.
Despite being a basic human skill, you’d be surprised at how many people fail to listen to others properly. This could have something to do with their actual attitude or about their life in general. Don’t be part of that group of people who don’t care about what others think. Be the person who listens. Be the person who can make a difference in the workplace.
These are my top 5 programs for building my online businesses.

1. Easiest Sales System -
There are different ways to establish the value of your ebook and its content. What most beginners do is establish a price based on what they determine its value to be. This is in fact backwards as it needs to be determined according to what the reader sees as its value.
Here are a few things to keep in mind to help you price your ebook for maximum profits.
The law of supply and demand is simple. Sell what people are looking for and willing to buy, and find a void to fill. There are a lot of people who think that everything has been done and there is no more room for opportunity. This kind of thinking only serves to raise prices being sought for commodities since things that are new become even more valuable in their minds. They become scarce.
If you are able to find the next new popular thing in your niche it will be viewed as something extra special and can be given a high price. Something new on the market can be a best selling item in no time as long as it fits into this model for supply and demand. Give your customers what they want at a price they are willing to pay for it.
Now that you have seen the philosophy, let’s take a look at application. If you already have an ebook ready to hit the market, you will have to examine it. You will need to find out if it is offering something new that the marketplace will consider valuable and pay a high price for.
Look around the Internet. Search Google for the kinds of keywords you are targeting and see what comes up. If there are a lot of other competitors with the same kind of information, you will need to make your ebook competitive in price.
If your information is something new and fresh, it can be priced higher than the competition based on low supply and high demand. This is only a starting point and you will have to run some further testing before setting a final price.
Many marketers just starting out have the mindset that underpricing the product will result in more sales. Seasoned marketers know that this is simply not true. Why?
It is simply because you are starting out by devaluating your own book! If you think it is worth less than other competitor’s books, then the marketplace will see it as low value as well.
Once you have set a price for your ebook, you will have to start a testing campaign. Just as it is with other Internet marketing promotions, the pricing will need to undergo a testing phase.
Start by offering it at the value you have determined based on supply and demand. If the sales are low, try raising the price and then lowering it, and keep track of your results.
You may be surprised to see the book sell much faster at a higher price than at a lower one. This is due to the value level determined by the price.
There are certain niches where pricing is totally out of your control. There are markets where the ebook would have to be priced high to sell, others low; and some niches have a market that just won’t spend a penny on anything.
If you are targeting a very specific niche, then a good idea is to look at the ebooks being offered, and get an idea from them. Then, you can go to a forum on the niche and ask people the question: “How much would you be willing to pay for a book about (fill in the blank)?
Let potential buyers let you know. You will probably get a lot of feedback on this one question and you can use it as a guide. Who would know better than the buyers?
After the testing phase has been done, you are ready for a full-blown promotion of your ebook. Done right, you should be able to make an incredible amount of sales.
If you launch and promote it effectively, and it has been priced right for buyers that want this information (based on your analysis and testing), you should sell these ebooks like crazy.
There’s no such thing as failure in the Internet marketing world. If you have set everything in place for a successful campaign and it was a flop, then you have actually gained something very important in your marketing process. Something was not set in place properly.
You can figure out if it was pricing, or another part of the promotion, and either fix it up or go onto your next project. You have to find out what went wrong in order to continue your progress and make the next ebook the best seller you want it to be.
Pricing an ebook can be done strategically or haphazardly. If you want true success, you will set your price using the methods listed above. Any promotion can be refined and tested until you are sure you are releasing a winner.
