Getting Creative: Building A Home Business On A Budget

Getting Creative: Building A Home Business On A Budget

Building a home business on a budget is important because this entity usually lacks a large amount of capital. This is why ithome business is necessary to stretch dollars as far as they can go. Here are three different ways that may be helpful when establishing and growing a home business.

1.Video Marketing

The best tool to build a home business, in my opinion, is video marketing. The best tool in video marketing is YouTube. This is a very popular search engine where prospective customers may be waiting.

The best thing about YouTube is that it is free. It is a great way to directly promote a home business. This attracts customers without much hassle. Magnetic sponsoring is part of this idea. Marketing a business magnetically attracts customers without the need to chase the public for sales.

2.Blogging

Blogging is also a popular way to build a home business. It offers a great advantage over common social sites like Facebook. Websites like YouTube and Facebook can shut a person down. Google has already stopped advertising as well. When a person blogs, there is total control over the content. No one can shut down a site and information will always be relevant.

3.Facebook

empower network videoUsing Facebook as a source of advertising for a home business makes a lot of sense. It will definitely help a person cut costs. Facebook is a very popular search engine. As a person uses this site to build social interaction, it will have many benefits that come with little expense.

There are many common mistakes that small businesses make when it comes to using Facebook for advertising. It is important for a home business to provide relevant content on a continuous basis. It is also important to invest time into setting up a good page. Facebook advertising should never be predictable. Adding videos and photos will help to prevent boredom. One of the smartest things to do is to learn how to use all of the Facebook tools that are available. For example, a home business should create a custom welcome page and properly plan a good profile image.

Building any type of business can be difficult, especially when it is small. A home business will probably have limited funds when it comes to the marketing budget. This is when free or inexpensive advertising will come in handy. Video marketing, blogging, and social interaction sites will be helpful for building a home business on a budget.

Successful Network Marketing – The Reality

Successful Network Marketing – The Reality

I first encountered Multi Level Marketing/MLM/Network Marketing in 1991. It was a company, I’m sure you have all heard of, called Amway. A old neighbor of my brother and I invited us to Burger King to prospect us. We both thought it was a scam, LOL!!!!

I was broke, working at a gas station pumping gas, making minimum wage at the time. So what did I know?.numis network marketing

Fast-foward 21 years I have been with 6 MLM companies from health and wellness to Legal services until I finally found my “perfect fit” in January of 2011.

I never made any money before the current company I am in. here are several reasons why…

The Reality.

1. Although I really pushed the products, most people weren’t interested in antioxidants and legal insurance. The main objection was that they didn’t want to risk any money.

2. I didn’t have enough start up capital to do my promotions justice and although I introduced users and promoters I always fell just short of the monthly join up requirements to be paid. Being paid for my efforts might just have made the difference if I could have used what I had earned to increase my promotions.

3. I joined with a very nice lady but she was also new to network marketing. As her upline didn’t offer any help to her we helped each other. It was fun but like the blind leading the blind.

I tried with that company for several months and never got paid. In the meantime I started a brick and mortar computer repair business. Getting over 35,000 dollars in debt, working 60 to 70 hours per week and barely breaking even…

I thought there has got to be a better way. And also I dint make a good employee!!!

I knew people who had piles of the products stashed away and never likely to be used. Why? Because some of the companies require you to buy an amount of product every month before you are paid for your efforts and your downlines efforts.

Companies shifting the goalposts just when promoters start to do well.

I would get telephone calls inviting me to join a wonderful opportunity. Because I am polite I didn’t tell them to get lost when they were extolling the virtues of companies that I probably knew more than them about. I would list my objections and get really annoying answers:

I’m not interested in the product
…The product doesn’t matter you will soon earn lots of money

I haven’t got time
…You only need to spend an hour a week on this business

network marketing pyramidI already have a lot of projects on the go and wouldn’t be able to do this business justice and spend time helping those who joined with me.
…They won’t need any help this business is easy to run

I could go on but I’m sure you get the drift. I really grew to detest network marketing and some of those that it attracted, but being in daily contact with them was part of my business so grinning and bearing it was a daily chore.

Until one day I had the pleasure of meeting an online marketing “guru”. He plugged me into his system. I started learning every week new skills to build my company online.

That guy impressed me, he became very successful and his downline was successful. So now I work hand in hand with many of the top leaders in Network Marketing and my primary business. Now I bring value to the marketplace with the skills I have learned along the way.

So the moral of the story is plug into a system and find a mentor to take your business and your life to the next level!!

Thousands Of Opportunity Seekers Join Network Marketing Business

Thousands Of Opportunity Seekers Join Network Marketing Business

The unemployed, retired, homemakers, students and more are joining from the United States to India a networking business being described as “great, credible, honest and the best!”

Strong Future International(SFI)a division of Carson Services, Inc., headquartered in Lincoln, Nebraska USA was founded in 1985, by Gery Carson. According to the website, Carson is an entrepreneur who has been written about in Money Makers Monthly, Upline, Opportunity World Magazine, and other books and videos. He has authored several marketing tools and has been featured as an expert guest on live call-in radio shows.

So what exactly is SFI? The site reports that it is an “exclusive marketing arm for the IAHBE (International Association of Home Business Entrepreneurs) and Veriuni , a line comprised of nutritional, cleaning, personal care, pet care, telecommunication products, and more.”

Opportunity seekers are drawn to the site for a number of reasons some of which include: membership and training is free, the company is established in over 200 countries, they keep in contact with everyone who joins on a daily basis, they have many products to choose from and will dropship to customers without additional fees, and they provide business tools to affiliates to promote their products and services for various fees.

Affiliates are also attracted to the company’s promise to provide residual income. This means that an affiliate would market his or her link to a prospect who would either buy a product or join the company and then he or she would refer someone and so on which would potentially give the affiliate income for years to come. Affiliates make money from the products sold through their individual url links assigned to them by the company. They are responsible for marketing those links which will connect the prospect to services and products at the site.

In comparison to other networking businesses, SFI seems to have everything that any opportunity seeker would want. Unlike others, they are listed in the Better Business Bureau and can be contacted to answer questions. According to SFI representatives, SFI is not a pyramid scheme. The SFI website reports “they do not generate income solely on the process of recruiting others into a pyramid who pay a fee to get in.
Instead there is no cost required to participate, and affiliates are paid only on product movement never on recruiting. And, unlike illegal pyramids, in SFI, no matter where you’re positioned in the network or when you join, you can advance to the very highest income levels and even earn more income than those above you in the network.”

Is Your Understanding Of Network Marketing Outdated?

Is Your Understanding Of Network Marketing Outdated?

I knew things in our industry had changed, but I didn’t realize just HOW MUCH they had changed until recently. Now we all know nothing stays the same, and progress is always welcome in Network Marketing, but I don’t think many of us are truly aware of the vast differences we’ve seen technology bring in just the past few years.

Ten years ago–even five years ago–a successful couple or individual working in Networking limited themselves by prospecting in exclusively their local market. Their local circle of influence.

Mike and Rita were about the best Networking team around a few years ago. They held weekly meetings at the public library and held even more meetings at their home. If you made any contact whatsoever with Mike and Rita, they would keep your phone and fax warm for days until you finally signed up on their program.

Not only that, but a BIG part of Mike and Rita’s success was due to their non-stop mailing of sales letters and postcards. Rita spent many a night posting their prospecting ads on Internet sites and newsgroups.

More than once they got kicked off of AOL and other ISP’s for being too aggressive when contacting prospects — a new no-no in the online age.

I supposed all the work Mike and Rita did was worth it, but at what cost? They worked night and day for years. And even then, I don’t think they were pulling in more than a few thousand dollars a month.

Now let’s fast forward to today. Mark and Sandra are the talk of the neighborhood. They live in a big expensive house and drive a luxury car. Most people can’t figure out how Mark and Sandra afford it. They’re seen at home all day and go on lengthy vacations five or six times a year.

That part makes me smile, because I KNOW what Mark and Sandra do. They’re working in direct sales and MLM from home. Only there is a key difference in what they’re doing from what Mike and Rita were doing a few years ago.

Mark and Sandra use completely automated online systems to find huge numbers of leads, then filter through the leads to find only the best. Only then do Mark and Sandra start talking to their leads.

You see, Mark and Sandra don’t spend their days prospecting. They let the technology do all that prospecting and cold calling for them. The only time Mark and Sandra talk on the phone or answer an email is when a very hot prospect requests their call.

And here’s the good part: Because the technology takes so much of the work out of direct sales, Mark and Sandra are able to work less hours and make more money. Rather than earning a few thousand dollars a month, they’re bringing in TENS OF THOUSANDS.

Plus, with all that automation (and help from their upline organization) Mark and Sandra are able to take off and travel the world just about anytime they like.

Now that’s progress!

Network Marketing Secrets – Explaining the MLM Home Business Concept – Harvesting Success

Network Marketing Secrets – Explaining the MLM Home Business Concept – Harvesting Success

Perhaps one of the best ways to illustrate the difference between the poor and the rich is by looking at agriculture…

A farmer buys some seeds and all the machinery required to plant, grow and harvest them. Then the farmer spends months of unpaid work and a lot of his money to grow his seeds so that he can harvest later on and finally reap the rewards of all his hard work.

To speed things up, the farmer can spend more of his money and hire workers to plant and grow his seeds for him. The workers then invest their time to grow the farmer’s business and when harvesting time comes, the workers get nothing of the rewards as they were already rewarded for their work (salary). The farmer makes so much (profits) from selling his harvest that he can pay more and more workers to do his work for him. The farmer ends up doing less and less work himself yet make more and more money.

10 years pass and the worker is still stuck in the same hole, still working hard for his money but the farmer sold his farm and now lives in a mansion ;)

Moral of the story: grow your own seeds!

Growing your Network Marketing businesses is not unlike this farming story. It does require hard work in the beginning and you are not paid for that work, you are only paid for the results that you achieve (harvest). However once those results start coming in, they keep coming month after month without any extra work being required as your trees keep producing fruits. Your business even grow faster and faster on its own as your customers start growing their own business within your organization. I guess we could call the network marketing industry the business of growing money trees… Every single customer you refer is a potential money tree and you need to nurture it so that it grows big and strong!

Take excellent care of your customers and they’ll reward you handsomely for it!

Do You Know What To Look For In A Network Marketing Business Opportunity?

Do You Know What To Look For In A Network Marketing Business Opportunity?

I’ve been my own boss for many years now and let me tell you something, I have never looked back with regret. It was pretty frightening in the beginning and getting myself set up independently in marketing was not easy, but today, you have a lot of resources at your disposal. If you feel that you’re tired of an office setting where you don’t call the shots and your best efforts are hampered by bureaucratic idiocy, getting involved with a multi-level marketing company might your ticket to a more exciting, more fulfilling life.

Getting started with an MLM company is a great way to get your feet wet, and you might find yourself starting down a whole new career path. The best MLM companies offer you a lot of support and you’ll never feel like your alone, even when you’re working more independently than you ever have before! With an MLM company, you will be considered an independent contractor of sorts. You’ll have the tools to set yourself up with a franchise type environment, so you’ll be working on your own, but with a company backing you up. This is an excellent first step to see whether you want to be your own boss, or if you’d prefer some sort of supervision. Myself, I realized I don’t make a good employee. I like to call my own shots and be the captain of my destiny not someone elses…

One thing to think about when getting started is looking for a good MLM company. This is extremely important, because there are a ton of organizations on the internet that are essentially scams. The best MLM companies all share a few traits and once you know them, you can identify them very easily.

The first thing that the best MLM companies do is offer a lot of support. This doesn’t mean just one person that you can get in touch with sporadically, this means a full support network that you can get an answer to any question that you might have within a few hours. This reveals two things. The first is that the company cares about its contractors and the second is that they have the funds to have a working support network. Both of these things indicate that the MLM company isn’t a fly by night organization that will take your money and run.

That’s another thing about MLM companies; the best MLM companies will ask for the minimum investment for you. Under no circumstances should you trust one that asks you to invest more and more money. There is a good chance that this would just be a scam. The best MLM companies might ask for an investment, but it is something that you can see making back in very short order.

The best MLM companies are out there; all you have to do is search around for them!
